Position:
Senior Manager FVT Engineering

Role:
The FVT manager will be responsible for functional verification of advanced storage systems based on proprietary Aristos RSP™ software and silicon.  The role requires direct ‘hands-on’ leadership of multi-site test teams in the development of test systems and test plans, test execution, test automation, software defect discovery and support of defect resolution.  This individual will work closely with software and ASIC development teams, engineering and program management, and will report to the Vice President, Platform Development.

Responsibilities:
 
  Develop software and systems verification strategies that ensure robust system-level functionality and performance
 
  Develop and lead the execution of storage system FVT and compatibility test plans
 
  Configure, trouble-shoot and maintain networked storage test systems
 
  Establish, implement, execute and maintain test automation
 
  Identify software defects and work with developers to root cause and resolve
 
  Develop, track and report appropriate functional test and defect related metrics
 
  Develop FVT plans and schedules and ensure on time delivery
 
  Champion FVT team excellence, efficiency, pro-active approach and timeliness of results
 
  Interface with customer test managers and test teams

Skills Required:
 
  Strong teambuilding and leadership skills, both within group and across groups
 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
  Extensive personal experience planning, writing and executing storage system tests
 
  Extensive experience integrating and maintaining system test equipment
 
  Extensive experience in embedded systems test processes, methodologies, metrics and reporting
 
  Storage systems (RAID, SAN, NAS, FC, SAS, SATA) knowledge
 
  Strong systems-level debug skills
 

Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of system test group management and team leadership experience; minimum of 7 years embedded software test experience

Education:
BS in EE, CS, CE or math is required, MS preferred

Position:
Principal ASIC Design and Verification Engineer

Role:
This will be a key individual contributor on a team responsible for specification, design and implementation, verification of ASIC device and support the device in system applications.


Responsibilities:
 
  Systems analysis, architecture, development of system design requirements and design specifications for VLSI devices
 
  SOC integration of complex digital CMOS ASICs
 
  VLSI design, simulation, technology-specific structural implementation and verification
 
  Participate in estimating development schedules and ensuring on time delivery.
 
  Contribute to and follow ASIC development processes including structured design methods and configuration management processes
 
  Development of test bench, test models, microcode and verification tests
 
  Interface with customers to provide technical support as needed

Skills Desired:
 
  Digital logic and computer architecture design
 
  ASIC design, tools and flow, microprocessor-based systems design
 
  RTL/HDL-based coding
 
  Verilog, Synopsys, C/C++, and applicable lab test and debug
 
  Storage I/O protocol (FC/SAS/SATA) or PCIe working experience

Experience Required:
5+ years of ASIC design experience in team-based environments, preferably in the storage industry.

Education:

This individual will be a key individual contributor on a team responsible for development, integration, test, delivery and support of sub-system-level solutions for advanced storage I/O applications based on proprietary Aristos RSP™ software and silicon.


Responsibilities:
 
  Systems analysis, design, and coding of software for embedded, custom-ASIC-based platforms.
 
  Code module test bench generation, integration, and unit test
 
 

System-level debug, issue tracking, and resolution

Skills Desired:
 
  Fluency in C and C++ and a working knowledge of operating system principles
 
  Object-oriented software development expertise including analysis and design methods, and tool use
 
  Embedded system integration, test, and lab debug skills
 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
  Experience with networked storage I/O sub-systems (SAN, NAS, RAID)
 
  Experience with enterprise-class storage management systems and software
 
  Knowledge of storage networking technologies such as SAS, SCSI, SATA
 
  Experience with client/server environments

Experience Required:
New Grads with some experience or Graduates with experience in developing complex software in a team-based environment.
